Travel from Budapest…
Participants will most likely arrive to Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The fastest way to downtown Budapest is either by taxi or by the Airport Shuttle minibuses. The Airport Shuttle operates a booth right at the arrival exit of the airport. For actual fares, please visit their website.
Those participants who would like or have to use the taxi service as a way of shuttle transfer should count 50.000 HUF or 130 EUR for a one-way trip to Siófok. Főtaxi is the authorized taxi company operating at the airport.
Those who prefer public transport (BKK) can reach the city centre with the bus 100E from either terminal. Tickets can be purchased at the airport.

Note that passengers may transfer between metro lines with the same ticket but not between other means of transport, so reaching the city centre requires at least two tickets. A single ticket costs 350 HUF (100E airport shuttle buses are available for a special fare, not for the ordinary price). You can find a list of all available ticket options here.
…by bus (Volánbusz, regional Volán companies)
Regional buses from Budapest towards Siófok depart from Népliget bus station, at the crossing of Üllői út and Könyves Kálmán körút. If using public transport, take the bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station and from there the M3 (blue) metro line towards Népliget terminal (buszpályaudvar, directions).
There are a number of direct routes from Budapest towards Siófok. You may check the timetables here. A one-way ticket costs about 2500 HUF, it can be purchased at the counters or directly at the drivers. Trips take about 2 hours.

…by train (MÁV-Start)
Most trains towards Siófok leave from Déli railway station (pályaudvar). You can reach the station with public transport by taking the bus line 100E until Deák Ferenc tér and there change to M2 (red) line towards Déli pályaudvar (directions).
There are a number of direct rains from Budapest to Siófok. Trips usually take 2 hours, tickets cost about 2500 HUF. You may check the timetables here.

…by car
Several well known car rental companies are accessible at 2A and 2B terminals of the airport. Siófok is well accessible by car. If arriving from Budapest, take the M7 motorway till the exit @105 km. After it please drive to the direction of the city centre and the marina, please always keep straight. This way you will crossing Erkel Ferenc street and the railroad. After 200 m you will see the gate of the Hotel.

Visa information for Hungary
Hungary is part of the Schengen Area of 25 European countries. For non-Schengen EU, USA and Canadian citizens a valid passport is sufficient to enter Hungary. Citizens of other countries should check whether visa is needed for them when entering Hungary (for more information please visit the home page of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary). On request, the Organizing Committee will issue invitation letters for visa applications. Please apply in due time for a visa if necessary. Please indicate during the registration if you need a personal invitation to attend the conference. It is important to note that a visa is only a preliminary permission for entry, which does not authorise its bearer automatically to enter the country.
